Rhoda Mitchell - Biography

rhoda_2005.jpgRhoda Mitchell is known for her ability to inspire an audience. Her wisdom, insight, optimism and energy light up a room and give an audience concrete advice to go home with.

Rhoda is successful as a coach, consultant and trainer, and is sometimes described as a Success coach. Whether teaching individuals how to believe in themselves and go for the life and career goals they want or teaching executives how to handle themselves in the workplace, Rhoda's aim is to help them lead successful, fulfilled lives. Rhoda is happy to bring the accumulated experience of a twenty-year coaching practice and her own life lessons to the stage.

In 1985, Rhoda founded New Leaves, with the goal to help people improve their work lives. In the last 20 years, she has provided consultation, training and coaching to organizations, executives and individuals on issues ranging from career choice to personal management to human relations and communication skills. She has a Masters Degree in Counselor Education, Certification in several personality and communication programs, and is a trained Dale Carnegie Instructor.

Rhoda is uniquely qualified to guide audiences in improving their ability to make decisions since she has in her coaching practice worked with hundreds of individuals on exactly this issue. In this program, Rhoda draws on her 20+ years helping people with communication skills and conflict management in real situations to teach audience members how to transform the difficult interpersonal situations in their lives and work.

Lengths and Formats:
Rhoda's topics can be tailored to fit a window of 45 minutes up to a 2 1/2 hour workshop. All topics can be presented in both keynote and workshop formats, and she is happy to present a keynote followed by more in-depth work with a smaller group.
